Schuyler Brown, Founder
MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

It's easy to procrastinate about scary topics. I did, until my dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney cancer. Dealing with the emotionally devastating news was hard enough. Asking him to document his will, life insurance, etc...added way more stress before going into surgery. I never want anyone else experience that stress in the middle of a medical emergency. That's why I built LastShelf.

The Problem

Not every bill is autopay

If you were hit by a bus, who would know when or how to pay critical bills? Budgeting tools won't help your spouse remember Earthquake insurance is due the 15th and tuition on the 30th.

It's scary to think about financial planning and a pain to gather all the information. LastShelf makes the process painless by automatically discovering & documenting your bills.

The gap

Bills live in your head. Until they don’t.

What most households use today

  • — A spreadsheet nobody updates
  • — Calendar reminders with no amounts
  • — Autopay for some, not all
  • — A partner who hopes the first person remembers

What LastShelf provides

  • — Automatic discovery of recurring bills via email & bank statements
  • — A single dashboard of amounts, due dates, and how-to-pay
  • — Reminders before a bill is due
  • — Alerts for family members in case of emergency
Three motions

Discover. Approve. Hand off.

01

Discover

LastShelf reads your Gmail for bills, statements, and invoices. Every obligation surfaces on one shelf — nothing left in somebody’s head.

02

Approve

Nothing is taken as truth until you approve it. You confirm, edit, or dismiss each bill. Missed items get flagged, not auto-paid.

03

Hand off

Designate a trusted contact. When you ask for help, they receive a secure handoff link with the bills that need attention.

Trust

What we hold. What we never hold.

LastShelf reads your email inbox and bank statements. It doesn’t move your money. Third-party tokens are encrypted at rest and disconnect is one click away. Trusted contacts get a secure handoff link only when you ask for help; they never need your password.
